The Hotel Kindler 2.0 is located in the center of Leoben. Accordingly, there are only a limited number of parking spaces available.

The following parking facilities are available:

• In the underground parking garage of the city of Leoben park your vehicle under the main square, under video surveillance and protected from wind and weather. The entrance to the Bergmannsbrunnen is only 200m from the hotel. As a hotel guest, you can order your 40% discounted parking ticket (€ 12.00/day) when you book online on the website!
• Several parking spaces are available in the hotel’s inner courtyard. Park your car here for only € 7.00/day.
  Please let us know your parking preference before you arrive (for example during the online booking process on the website).
• Additional parking is available in the green areas of the city of Leoben around the hotel. There is no time limit on parking here. Obligation to pay fees exists
  • Monday to Friday from 08:00 – 18:00
  • Saturday from 08:00 – 12:00.
    Parking is free of charge outside these times. You can find more information on public parking optionshere.

IMPORTANT:
The entrance to the courtyard is no problem with a car (VW Golf, Ford Focus, etc.). With vehicles up to the size of a VW bus (T5, T6) some caution is required, but the entrance is possible. Unfortunately, taller or wider vehicles no longer fit through our 1899 driveway. The parking spaces in the courtyard are not covered.

With Hotelomat you check in exactly when it suits you.
He encodes your room card, takes care of the registration and prints your receipt. Please make sure that you enter your data completely and correctly when making your reservation. This avoids potential problems and saves you having to make entries on the touchscreen on site.

Start the check-in process by selecting the language on the touchscreen. After that, please select the button “I have a reservation” and search for your last name (usually three to four letters are enough). Follow Ariane’s instructions from there on. During the payment process, you absolutely need a PIN code – also for your credit card. The check-in is impossible without entering your PIN. If your company has a corresponding agreement with us, the payment process is omitted for you and you go directly to the next step.

Please confirm your nationality and fill in any missing data for the digital registration form. Sign the form directly on the touch-screen in the white area. Now select whether Ariane should code one or two room cards for you. Upon successful check-in, you will receive your room card(s) and the receipt for your room booking from Ariane. You can find further instructions in our news article “24h Self-CheckIn with ARIANE”.

When checking out, please simply drop your room card in the black box provided to the left of Ariane. It no longer has any function, but can be reused by us and thus helps to avoid waste and effort. Thank you.

At our Hotel Kindler 2.0, your check-in will be dealt with by Ariane, our self-check-in automat. It is located on the left in front of the sliding door in the entrance area. Please choose the button “I have a reservation” und look for your surname (usually the first few letters will suffice). Follow Ariane’s instructions from there on. You can find detailed instructions in our news article “24h Self-CheckIn with ARIANE”.

The payment procedure will require you to enter your PIN code, even when paying with a credit card. The check-in is impossible without entering your PIN. Please confirm your nationality and enter your data into the digital registration form. Sign the form directly on the touch-screen in the white area. If your check-in was successful, Ariane will issue your key card and the voucher for your reservation.

Please keep the receipt or take a picture of it! If you lose your room card, you will need the number on the receipt to code a new card.

Your room is available to you until 11:00 am on the day of departure. Please bear in mind that your room card will no longer work afterwards. Please simply return the card to reception. There you will find a corresponding return box.

You need a company invoice?

Our reception team will take care of it. In person, by email to office@kindler.ator on +43 3842 43202.

Or you can simply drop your business card together with your room card in the return box at reception. We will then send the invoice to the email address provided.

In principle, you can check in at our Hotelomat Ariane around the clock, depending on the availability of your room.
Should you wish to prolong your stay please note that your key card will cease to function past 12:00 o´clock on the final day of your reservation, which means that you will lose access to your room by then. Therefore, please don´t forget to contact the reception of the Hotel Kongress before 11:00 a.m. on your original day of departure (+43 3842/46800). Our staff will gladly help you with a Late Check-Out, depending on room availability.

You want to stay longer? No problem!
Please note that your room card has been coded until the regular check-out at 11:00 on the day of departure and will not work after that. Therefore, simply contact the reception BEFORE 11:00 am on the day of departure or contact us at +43 3842 43202. We will gladly take care of a late check-out or the extension of your stay, depending on availability.

Yes, you may use WLAN inside the whole hotel free of charge. You will find your password at your room. There you will also find a table stand where you can easily connect to our WLAN via QR code or NFC tag (NFC must be activated on your phone).

There are several ways to issue a company invoice for you or your company:

1. Send us an email
   Tell us for which room or which period you need a company invoice. Send us this information together with the respective company address to office@kindler.at
2. Leave us your business card
   On the day of departure, drop your business card together with the KeyCard in the box at reception. Possibly with a small note “Company invoice”. The team will then send you the invoice to the email address provided.
3. Call us at
   You can reach us on +43 3842 43202 from 06:30 – 21:30. Simply discuss the information and e-mail address and the invoice will be sent to the desired recipient.

The Hotel Kindler is situated in the Straußgasse 7 in 8700 Leoben, near the main square of the city. You may find detailed information about the best way to reach us by car, bike, train or plane here.

Yes, there is. You can comfortably load and unload your luggage directly in front of the hotel. You may also leave your car there for a short while.
We ask for your understanding that the loading zone cannot be used as a parking area. It is needed for truck deliveries and occasionally for coaches.

Permanent parking is possible

• in the old town underground parking garage of the city of Leoben (200m from the hotel | 40% discounted tickets for hotel guests | bookable online
• in the inner courtyard of the hotel (limited parking spaces | reservation required | € 7,-/day/vehicle
• in the public parking areas around the hotel

You can make a reservation either online, via email or by phone. This way you will get the best price, and have the opportunity to inform us about any additional wishes (transport to the airport, reservation of a table, content of the minibar, extra-long bed, a.s.o.)

Ariane can’t find a room for you either?
Under +43 3842/46800 you can reach our partner hotel Kongress from 06:00 – 22:00. Feel free to ask the colleagues there for a free room.

Your travel dates have changed or your booking needs to be canceled?
No problem – you can easily edit your existing booking yourself in our booking system.
And this is how it works:

• Follow this link: Change or cancel booking
• At the top left you will find the menu item Change/Cancel. Please click on it.
• Please enter your booking number in the field above.
  You can find this in the subject line of your confirmation email or in the email itself.
  It looks like this: KINDLER-******-****
• Please enter the e-mail address you used for the booking in the field below.
  Finally, click on “Login”.
• You will now see the current booking and can edit the following:
  • Change guest name
  • Change arrival and departure date
  • Change room
  • Click the confirmation button at the bottom of the page.
    You will receive an e-mail to confirm your changes.

• Clicking on the “Cancel this booking” button cancels the entire booking. You will receive a confirmation email.

The breakfast buffet at Hotel Kindler 2.0 is included in the room price. Sausage and cheese, bread and pastries, muesli and egg dishes and a few other delicacies provide you with enough energy for a fresh start to the day.

Coffee, tea, milk and various juices are also part of the offer. For freshly prepared egg dishes, please contact the staff members present at any time.

Our breakfast buffet is served during the week between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and during the weekend as well as during the holidays between 6:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

There are two ways to replace a lost room card.

• Have a new room card coded at the check-in machine
  Go to the check-in machine in the entrance area. Select your language on the touchscreen and then the corresponding menu item. You will need the reservation number from your check-in voucher for coding at the machine.

Now enter your last name and take out your new card.

• Have a new room card encoded by the hotel team
  We will also be happy to encode a new card for you. Please contact us on +43 3842 43202 (06:00 – 22:00) and we will take care of it.

Of course. In the lockable bike room your bike is parked dry and safe, the battery of your e-bike can be charged directly in the bike room or in your room. The room is accessible at any time with your room card.

The reception at the Hotel Kindler 2.0. is not permanently staffed. You can reach the team at the partner hotel Kongress from 06:00 to 22:00 on +43 3842 43202. They will be happy to take care of your request.

During the day, our maids and breakfast team are also in the house and are happy to help you.

The overnight stay tax is a statutory tax and is regulated in the overnight stay and vacation home tax law.

Excerpts from the text of the law:

• Any person who, in a municipality of the Province of Styria, in a catering or other accommodation establishment
  takes accommodation against payment without establishing his main residence in this municipality.
• In the case of accommodation in hotel and restaurant establishments, the owner is liable for the collection of the tax.
• When displaying the accommodation fee, the persons liable for the collection of the fee shall separately indicate the accommodation tax to be paid.
• The levy must be paid and collected at the same time as the accommodation bill is paid.
  The persons liable to collect the levy shall be liable for the correct collection of the levy to the extent that their own account has been settled by the guest.

The tax is € 2.50 per person per night. Children up to 16 years of age are exempt from the tax.
The prices quoted include breakfast and VAT plus city tax.

Hotel Kindler 2.0 is a cashless hotel. You can pay with your credit card and PIN code everywhere at the hotel. Except for the beverage automat, for which you will need coins (€) to pay .

Yes, there is. Just call ahead or write an email to book a barrier-free room (depending on availability).

You can choose from a variety of bed sizes. Anything between the width of 80-220 cm and length between 200-230 cm is possible. So – if you are a basketballer – no problem! Just inform us about your wishes when booking a room.

Depending on availability you can book 2 rooms with a connecting door. Please inform us about your wish when booking directly via phone or email.
Our two apartments are also perfect for families.

Hotel Kindler 2.0 lies special emphasis on accommodating people suffering from allergies. Therefore, dogs are not allowed here. Our sister company, the Hotel Kongress, however will gladly take in your furry best friend.

In single apartments of the A category, you will find a minibar that you can stock at your discretion.

Of course, you can also leave that to us and enjoy a cool beverage as soon as arriving at your room. Just inform us 48 hours before arriving and we will make sure 2 bottles of Gösser beer, a soft drink and a bottle of mineral water are waiting for you. (costs: € 14, non-recurring).

Yes, there is. On demand we will issue your room with bedclothes for people with allergies. Just choose this additional service when booking online.

Just a few steps away from the hotel is Leoben’s main square with numerous restaurants that are happy to cater for your physical well-being.
Styrian delicacies, fine wines and freshly tapped beer are served in the “Schwarzer Hund” wine arbor or in the “Schwarzer Adler” arcade courtyard. The best place to end the evening is the O’Cino pub.

The two apartments with the numbers 106 and 107 are located on the second floor. Turn left from the elevator or stairs and follow the hallway opposite the entrance to the breakfast room to the end.
